As the congregation of Westdale United Church approaches its 30th anniversary in its present location, there continues to be a vibrance that was obviously evident when it all began with such devoted members.

Westdale was located in the growth area of "suburban" West Peterborough, and as such has evolved with a sense of mission somewhat different than others and grew to serve the mid-week (see groups) and Sunday service needs of residents in the area.

There is a welcoming and inviting atmosphere at Westdale for both the young and the young-at-heart and our congregation continues to be robust and sustains a healthy level of attendance. Sunday services often include special musical presentations and multi-media to enhance the worship experience.

A visitor, we would hope, can find both a warm welcome, yet stimulating worship experience, supplemented by an opportunity to develop new friendships and become part of a number of supportive activities. Westdale has an amazing track record of leadership and dedicated volunteers. Members have come to believe in their church and in their faith providing them with that all important anchor in their lives which helps them live their lives with hope and joy each day. Come in and join the journey of spiritual growth!
